Paper Submission

The abstract submission deadline for the 46th US Rock Mechanics / Geomechanics Symposium has passed, and we are no longer accepting abstracts. As of 15 November 2011, we had received well over 500 abstracts, and we expect to have an exceptional event. We would like to thank all the authors for their interest in the Symposium.
For those abstracts accepted (you will be notified by 30 November 2011), the initial papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format and must be submitted by 15 February 2012 (deadline extended to 1 March 2012. This is a firm date). Please follow the instruction in the Paper Instruction Template. The initial papers will be reviewed, and any commentary will be provided to you by 1 April 2012. Reviews will be requested from experts in the field and may be performed by authors of papers submitted to the Symposium. All final papers must be uploaded by 1 May 2012 in order to be included in the symposium proceedings. Final papers must be submitted in .pdf format. Full registration must accompany submittal of the final paper.

Deadlines for paper submittal are as follows:
